There is only like two brand for high end 4k gaming monitor ASUS ROG and Acer Predator

Other brand is catered for 1080p high refresh rate gaming or VA panel sub par 4k monitor .
Kind of agree in terms of build quality . My XB271hu failed after about 1 month with vertical line had to replace it .

Ended up selling that monitor

it's hard to find glossy finish, usually only DELL produce glossy or ACER. But stay away from acer panels , better get LG or DELL.

Benq ew3270u maybe?

I’m also looking for a new monitor. Contemplating whether to go for 27 or 32 inch.

The specs of the LG and Benq are actually quite similar with both spotting VA panels. But you’ll probably be able to get the Benq at a lower price as compared to the LG.
