Like completely hide the thread/post without any trace at all, akin to using an adblocker for that particular user. Possible?

that's true and that's annoying. in /k/ too many posts that I wish I could just not see. in the thread itself, you still get to seem them posting, but I can ignore lah.

maybe u could send a request to the big boss to re-code the ignore function to also include quoted posts.

perhaps i will. but not that much of a deal. im sure there are plenty who could use that feature though. kpitiam isn't exactly pleasant with so many dupes coming up with "funny" posts.
