first, i apologize if this topic is a repost, because i couldn't find it so i made a new one.
i'd like to ask experienced members which is best online portal to trade stocks on KLSE?
i only know about maybank via it's maybank2u. they charge RM20 to open a CDS account and some members here reporting it's helluva bad connection (being unable to access and not updated frequently).
what are other online portals that updates frequently? and do you guys know how much they charge to open an account? plus, do they come along with a software that keep tracks of stocks in KLSE live?
thanks in advance

I am using A.A.Anthony account, not a big firm, but good management and so far just disconnect occasionally during market opening period. Maybank a little bit slow... I've seen OSK one, not bad!

You can open even you're a student. I never use online trading, but thinking want to use OSK.

Are you using OSK online trading? How's it? It's free, right? ivmaniacvi, Yes, if not mistaken, you have to open a CDS account with OSK even you already have with other brokers.

I have K&N Kenanga's. Decent portal with lots of research and real time data. The downside is the not so user-friendly UI. They charge 10 bux for CDS account only. Portal is K&N.

it's nice to have many members contributing. hope it helps people who want to venture into stock investing in future.
i went to plaza osk (near ampang park) to open my cds account. 10th floor. was serviced by a pretty malay girl. she was really really amazing.
anyway, it cost me RM10 and about half an hour. to get an online trading account, i have to wait for 3 days. the remiser will call me they said.
btw, you don;t need an osk-uob saving bank account to open a trading account.
