QUOTE(lullerskatez @ Dec 26 2018, 02:00 PM) Wow your cards run pretty hot in my books. All my GPUs never hit above 65C. Used ASUS1070 around 65C max, MSI X 1080 around 60C max, Zotac 1080ti Amp around 60C max and Zotac 1080ti Extreme around 55C max. Haha same here

QUOTE(youngy @ Dec 26 2018, 01:29 PM) Less than 90c should be okay but last time my GTX1070 won't exceeded 80c. Using GTX 1080 ti now and it goes up around 84c when playing games. Im not sure it will stop at 90c. Whenever the temp reach 90c (Around 5 minutes after launching game), i straight away quit to desktop. Too scared. Hahaha. Who knows the temp will capped at how many degrees.

Anyway, if thats the case, i will try to replace the thermal paste then. Thanks bro

Maybe my room is quite hot... every night also need to switch on air con to cold my room abit. GPU at idle is around 38c to 41c.

QUOTE(SUPErROMEN @ Dec 26 2018, 08:43 AM) Hi all sifus. Its been awhile since my last posting here. (ISSUE RESOLVED) SOLUTION: Well guys, it looks like i've found the solution for the issue. It seems that the GPU Braces/Bracket/Holder (Cooler Master) is causing the issue. Whenever i remove it, and start running Furmark, the temperature is back to its normal state. Temp maintained below 70c after 30 minutes Furmark. I never thought the temperature issue is caused by the GPU Braces/Bracket/Holder. What GPU brace are you referring to? Vertical bracket? Power jack?

Take note that the bracket should not lift the heatsink, just sitting right beneath it. By lifting the heatsink/shroud you may distort the cooling base from the GPU causing inefficient contact.

I lifted the gpu shroud too much and because of this the base plate cooling/copper/cooling chamber is not in direct contact with its component. Lesson learned.
