While browsing on Lazada, I saw this Patriot Burst SSD which is slightly cheaper than Kingston A400. I have a kingston A400, performance is not that impressive. Has anyone tested Patriot Burst?

I'm using patriot burst 128gb for my android pc (Phoenix os). so far so good. it's been almost a year since I bought it. coz the speed is faster than a400, & I do trust patriot more than Kingston, lol

The major problem in Kingston a400 is slow performance when copy large file, even slower than mechanic hdd. Can you simply copy 10gb file from patriot burst ssd to another ssd?

yes. on paper, patriot burst 120gb read speed is 560mbps & write speed is 540mbps. while a400 120gb read speed is 500mbps & write speed is ONLY 320mbps. that is why u can feel the slowness.. a400 wrote speed increasing for bigger capacity. but even the 960gb of a400 can only achieve 450mbps of wrote speed, lol. this is the reason I'm going for patriot burst instead of a400. I bought from shopee last year.

For 250GB, ignore both of them. Seagate Barracuda 250GB is King right now.

Performance or price wise?

Should be the best. There is no direct comparison.

All those cheap SSD has no reviews that is tested throughly. Again, dont put your expectations too much on cheap SSDs.

I have bought and used patriots burst 480GB in my gaming rig. Was no problem even when playing CS-Go and COH2.
But I did swap it out for an 860 EVO 1TB, and move the patriots burst to another PC, still as OS HDD

yup. Because the map is stored on the SSD nand. They need to remap everytime data change. When remap + transfer = choke the Nand = slow.

but buying dramless SSD is useless now. The price the Seagate barracuda 250GB at is effectively killed entire dramless SSD market.

I checked lelong, they posted for RM180. Is that really the price for the SSD?
