Hello,
I have a question about the way to ask what sport someone enjoys.
Which do you use more often, "What sport do you play" or "What sport do you do?"
What kind of sports do you do?
What kind of sports do you do?

"What kind of sports do you play" is what i would normally use. But this is more of a linguistic topic.
PS: You guys should really read the whole post. |

As I get older, I tend to exercise my mouth more... but I am putting in effort to do some yoga and taichi now.

Err...depends?
Normal people sees sports as hobby and fun games, so its more appropriate to ask what sports do they play. Unless you are asking some one whos a professional athlete and do sports as a living, then you will ask, what sports do you do?. |

"what sports do you play", since one can play any sports they choose to as a hobby anyway.
then you can go further with "what sports do you play competitively" / "do you play any sports competitively". anyway, long time ago...competitive stuff were squash, tennis...then got lazy went to billiards...then even lazier PC... now i just play with myself for fun...uhhh...
