My sister encountered high fever when she was a child and since then, she becomes abnormal and cant think like normal person.

Self-discipline = OK, just below normal person, like a child. You need to tell her properly and she can follow the instruction.

Education level = Standard 6

Thinking level = Like a child, but she is able to debate on whatever points you told her....

Can I buy life and medical insurance for her?

she'll need to go through some medical examination by the panel insurance clinic or a specialist report is required to ascertain what she is suffering from otherwise it will be hard for the insurance company to grant any sort of insurance to her.

Panels that recommended by the insurance companies?

I can bring her to do examination.

I really want to say that Allianz has very bad customer service quality.

I sent them e-mail why I have premium due although I have fully paid every month.

First e-mail sent, they took 2 days to reply. They said will notify me once they have checked with other department.

It is now day 12 and I havent received their reply to answer me why....

Hi jack2,

Do let me know if you require further assistance on this matter.

Alternatively you can give the customer service a call, they will be able to answer your question on the spot. Sometimes it could be a cut off date issue as when they send out the premium reminder and when the system receives your premium.

Best,
Jiansheng

Nolah. My premium is RM90 monthly and paid RM90. How could be there is RM1.30 due unpaid...

I got from their receipt. I used jompay paid RM90. How could they credited my account as RM88.70 only?

Use jompay got fee or they credit only on the net amount after fee?

I don't intend to use call as I know I will be waiting for very long for minutes. Hence, I prefer to use e-mail for non urgent matter but 12 days without replying me is unacceptable.

If you are Allianz insurance agent, do feedback to them. If not mistaken, this is not my first time to communicate with them by using email. If they are slow in replying, better opt-out the email option to let clients e-mail and inquiry.

Thanks for your feedback.

There are no fees charged for Jompay. This is peculiar.

Would suggest that you log into your customer portal and check out the payment history. Make sure payments are captured on a timely manner. Would you mind sharing the plan name?

I would suggest that you go further to inform Allianz of your experience here: https://www.allianz.com.my/talk-to-us

Best,
Jiansheng

Have checked and they just credited me RM88.70 but I paid RM90 via jompay.

QUOTE(lifebalance @ Nov 5 2019, 08:29 AM)
From my experience, its always best to call up the insurance company directly if you have doubts on your premium paid.

Otherwise try walking in to the branch to sort it out.

Another method would be to log into your customer online portal which you would be able to see if there is any outstanding and make any necessary payment or find out why there are outstanding as you would be able to see your past payment records

I would try not to email as it will take quite sometime for a representative to respond. The fastest way are the above mentioned.
*
As I said, I did not expect them to reply my email within hours. The matter is not urgent and hence I don't wan to spend time to wait on phone (I know they will keep me wait for > 5 minutes).

But 12 days without reply via e-mail is NOT ACCEPTABLE and this can be considered as bad/slow customer service.

Go to feedback to the management to take off the e-mail option for customer service.

You have nothing to say?

What just give me impression that insurance co, when they need money, they will very fast. When comes to inquiry or issue to be checked, they are slow.

I need to emphasize again that I DID not expect them to reply my e-mail within hours. I know email is not the fast channel to be used. But waiting 12 days without response is not acceptable and this is considered as bad customer service support with bad co image.

If you concern about the co as the agents and you love the co, do go and provide feedback from improvements.

No feedback, no improvement and all lengan2 there sahaja.

I wish the CEO of the Allianz insurance is here to read about.

Sent you the PM.

This is not the first time I have this slow response or even no response at all.

The co needs to be improved on this and to find out why this happened? If this the behavour or corporate image or the staff did not do their job properly? The team needs to find out WHY.

may not be related, but while talking about emails as a form of correspondence...
I just had some experience regarding dealing with emails with 2 banks in Spore just few months ago.

the 2 banks that I emailed to regarding my bank a/c with them got back no responses for weeks.
it was until I "beh tahan", I called their CS and was told that my email address "NEEDS" to be in their system to enable replies.
I was told to submit a details update forms if I wish to do that.
*
This is just an execuse. They should reply you that in order for us to answer your question, your email address needs to be in our system or you use the same email address as registered.

Did they?

it's kinda a norm that sending email to big corporate nowadays may take forever for you to get response, sometimes your email is just drowned in the sea of emails received by the company.

Meanwhile @jack2, I am not obligated to owe you any form of service in here neither have I received any form of remuneration from you to owe you a service, just my general comments on the practices in Malaysia. Your intimidating notion here will get you nowhere.

But since jiansheng decides to give you a hand FOC, let him help you out.
*
I didn't ask you or anyone to help ..I am just to state the issue if someone who is relevant to provide feedback for quality improvement.

Want to feedback or no, up to them and it is none of my business.

My insurance is term insurance and it is going to muture soon.

To evaluate how good the agents or company are, we can see from the customer service quality.

I have one case with GE and I just realised today. 2006 I bought with GE one savings plan and they guaranteed that it is only payable for 10 years and the rest of the policy, you no need to pay.

At year 10, they wrote me one letter to ask for permission if I shall continue to enforce the payment until year 59 and if I did not reply the letter, they deem that I agree to continue until year 59.

I omitted the letter and didnt know about this too when I realised today from the portal that I have due premium payable after I cancelled my cc and they cant charge it.

I asked for surrender value for today (year 13) and damn, the cash value is almost same as the amount I paid for 13 years and all the while, I opted the cash bonus is to be accumulated in the account.

And if I surrender, I got back the amount that I paid in total which is totally not worth at all. MCB

previously mentioned by forummers.....something like the returns generated had been used to pay for the agent's commission and the insurance coverage provided for the duration of the 13 yrs....

I think if you were to surrender it few years earlier....the amount you got back would surely be lesser than what you had paid.

My plan is

GREATJUNIOR ADVANTAGE SERIES 2 / GREAT INCOME ADVANTAGE SERIES 2

I dunno if I shall surrender it...

yes jack2, for those with limited term payment plan, most likely (not all) you will have breakeven whatever you put in (if we exclude inflation). In actual, you know that even with that breakeven amount, the value by then is already not as much as it is. Still, for certain clients, to them it is like setting aside their funds here rather than in the savings account where they can easily access the money.
hi bluewhaleram, perhaps you can find out what your parent got for you. then you can pick up this responsibility since you are also planning to find a career for yourself.
look at overall what do you currently have then only decide whether to surrender or not. cannot really determine just by looking at this plan alone. i believe you do have other insurance plans ongoing.
*
Yes, i have at least 5 insurance plans and will be surrendered this. I forseen that they are not performed well. Hence, I would rather to take back my capital + some profit (little) only rather than to keep on paying and who knows in future, the value is like throwing the money into the salt sea.

*
The term is 10 years plus additional 3 years I Paid without knowing my plan has exceeded the 10 years until fee weeks ago.

Because I didn't aware and I didn't sign the exercise form, it was deem that I agreed to pay till age 80.

I don't want to commit further hence I decided to surrender.

.my agent earned buta from me without servicing me to notify this.

Ic. Agent earns commission for 6 years only. Most whole life plan will need to pay whole life, unless its an endowment.
Effective rate i estimate perhaps between 2.5% - 3.2%? laugh.gif

Let us know what's the total premium paid and the cash value you got back upon surrender

Effective interest: 1.165%

This is on my surrender value + Survival Benefits Balance + Cash Bonus Balance

get the variance of amount paid x 13 yrs x put in FD....can get more than 56k?

this is savings plan and insurance coverage is RM26k plus...

If i put this in FD, I would have at least 66k assuming 4% pa
