Feeling defeated. Doctor told me baby has IUGR (Intrauterine growth restriction). For the past 3 weeks, he had only grown about 100gm.
Measurements are behind by 4 weeks.

Has to keep a close eyes on baby's kick/movement. It's hard because for the past 2 weeks, his kick has became lesser and more like very small movements only.

Anytime he stops growing inside my tummy, I would have to deliver early.

Totally took me by surprised. I know baby is smaller for previous weeks but still in the range. 3 weeks ago, he was doing fine, finally upgraded to average weight. I don't know how his weight gain can slow down so much within 3 weeks. I asked doctor if he's in the range, she didn't answer directly, just baby is IUGR.

Anyone has experience to share? Did your baby need NICU? Any other growth issue as they grow up?

I'm at Week 34. I certainly hope he will get at least 2kg before I have to deliver. Doctor thinks I might need to deliver at Week 38.
I am going to seek second opinion this week at my FPP hospital. My fingers start to swell and itch really bad this week.

Which doctor are u currently seeing?
Yeah best to seek second opinion to see your options.
Put some aloe vera cream for your itch.. i heard it helps.

The itch is weird. It's only itchy on the palm, finger joints and feet. Under the skin, not the kind we get when the skin is dry or stretched. Had tried aloe vera but not working. Maybe will try calamine lotion.
My worst worry is whether the itching has to do with my baby's IUGR.

One of a mummy i read she went to Putrajaya FPP after refer out by private due to IUGR
She mentioned that her baby spent 26 days in the NICU and bill came up to about RM4k ..if private it could cost RM70 k
