Don’t forget the new ambient sound and sleep timer. Makes you feel like you are in the middle of a jungle.

Auntie in Australia got for me so it's Aussie plug. Maybe the Hong Kong one comes with a Malaysian plug?

My thoughts on it so far.
- setup is easy, just place your iphone next to it and it starts. You can also initiate it from the Home app.
- I got it primarily for Homekit. It sets itself up as a Homekit hub automatically. All my automations are still working. I was using an ATV4K which I sold.
- The mics are really sensitive. I can talk softly in the same room and Siri will hear me. From the kitchen of my 20x70 house, I just need to speak louder a bit. At night when it's quiet, it'll hear me from my upstairs office, door opened, when I "Hey Siri" my iPhone so now I have to whisper to my iPhone. LOL.
- You really need an Apple Music sub for the music. Without one, all you can listen to is Beats Radio. And your own iphone music.
- With a subscription, I'm currently on the 3-mth free trial, it's great.
- I'm not an audiophile so all I can say is that it sounds pretty good.
- You can airplay to it or handoff the music playing on the iPhone to the speaker by placing the phone close to the Homepod.
- News does not work.
- Traffic I haven't tried.
- You can make phone calls, messages, SMS or WhatsApp, calendar appointments and I think notes and reminders as well which I have't tried.
- It recognizes my voice. This feature is supposed to differentiate the user when you ask the HomePod to eg: "Read me my new Whatsapp messages". But at the moment, I'm the only one using it.
- Speaking to it in Cantonese is most fun. "Wei Siri" then precede all your requests with DLLM and end with PK.

That's all I can think of atm. Overall I'm really happy I got it. I'll definitely be getting at least one more for the upstairs. Maybe another downstairs to make it a stereo pair.

I don't really use Airplay so can't help there. Maybe when I get my HomePod. At the moment still playing with the Homekit stuff. About half way thru. So far it looks like this.
