Most probably the clock spring damaged. Check warranty still intact or not? If not, have to spend some dollars...

if with warranty, just go back to the service center.
if no warranty go to those workshop with the tool to diagnose the error.
they can tell you what is the error.

Many possible causes. Probably connector to the seatbelt loose, connector to the airbag loose, airbag module problem etc2.

Based on my own car problem, it is clock spring problem.

Eventually horn will fail to work. If yes, it is a clock spring problem.

coincidentally both car's airbag also got warning light... both car also go to the same workshop for repairs? then better check the workshop.

if not then better send to check asap... avoid any unnecessary airbag activation

Both already out of warranty, i sent to my friend workshop to inspect the Kia. The result is driver airbag resistance too high (1st stage). It may due to clock spring where i have not change yet.

The saga is with my Dad, have not back to hometown and assist him on the matter yet. Hopefully can be reset as told by my mechanic friend.

Yup. Coincidentally both car have the same problem. However, 2 different driver at 2 different location. checked on my kia and it seems to be clock spring problem. However, the Saga i have not attend yet as the car is with my dad.

Test the horn for both car, it still functioning. i check in google on the clock spring where the FFC cable seems to be torn. No idea is it due to the quality of the problem. What is your car model? Hope it is not korean or local brand.
