1. CIMB Clicks ID: <Your existing ID>
2. CIMB Clicks Password: <If your existing password length is > 8, then key in your password until the length of 8>

Example, old password is: mypasswod (length of 9 characters). In order to change password successfully, just key in mypasswo

if the user doesn't change the password then yea. just brute force 8 characters and eventually will enter
that's why it now has the captcha thingy to slowdown the brute force

that's why really topkek the code. first time see password taken by substring
and it is a bank! not some cheap blog or what.

means the let other attackers know old password length is 8 characters only.
ease attacker's work just guess got 8 characters.

Ummm, I treid to change my password at CimbClicks but keep getting error saying invalid user ID...

Calling their 1300 helpline no answer and it charges you becos is 1300.

Aren't all our ATM cards considered debit cards?

Key in the first 8 characters of the old or new password that you wanna change to?

i have no fckin idea why i'm still getting Invalid User ID or Password [CLK00619] every single time try to change pw

already adhere to their instructions
- >8 characters
- alphanumeric, 1 upper, 1 lower, 1 special character
- not userID or secureword
- no consecutive number/character

i'm fckin pissed.. changed my own acc pw so easy, but for my mum's dunno y so hard

oh man.. been trying to change the pw since yesterday.. why cimb never mentioned need to put first 8 character only in the old password box   

just read sin chew daily , they put this cimb thing as "fake news" section lol 

I've tried changing my password (old password of normal 8 characters  with limitation) but still it keeps saying invalid password and ID with error code CLK00619. What could have gone wrong?

I don't have any CIMB debit card though, only credit card. Is it safer in that sense?
