if password following the new format (have special characters and more or equal to 8 characters) then password will be as it is

else if old password format (8 characters), it will only take first 8 characters. any characters behind don't care..kena chopped

meaning we have to change to new password with special character asap?

Did CIMB ever give PSA for their customer to change password?.

Yup it's just taking turns. Better change card before too late. I already lose trust to cimb. They not honest in this issue.
