Hi, so recently i built a pc out of used parts. After I played PUBG, I donwloaded Speecy, i opened and found out my motherboard is overheating at 100°Celcius. I immmidiately turn off my pc. I think my gpu is heating up my motherboard. Even with the pc case opened, is still doing the same things. What could it be?
My Rig
CPU: gold pentium g5400 GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX570 4G CPU cooler: TX3 MOBO: MSI H310M pro vd Case fan: 3blowing in from front and 2blowing out(upper doesn't work) PSU: CM 550 Elite V2 (sucking air from outside and blowing back)(underneath GPU)

never heard of gpu overheating mobo just make sure - thermal paste/pad applied properly in all the required places, like mobo's chipset, cpu, and gpu - cpu & gpu hsf, and casing fan is clean of dust - good air flow if all above is ensured, then it is very likely the sensor is faulty edit: try alternative software to check the temperature, like HWMonitorThis post has been edited by CyrusWong: Dec 14 2018, 10:01 PM

So speecy is giving wrong info. Thanks!!👌

Is the 100c temperature TMPIN*insert number here* ? If so its because the msi H310 doesnt have north bridge temp sensor. So the temperature they give in I assume HWMonitor is gibberish. Don't worry and keep gaming.
