My dear bros which is better compromise between sometimes daily able And some track days. Feedback I got RS4 being cheaper and Slightly better then the neovas, but the AD08R slightly better In the wet ( road/daily able ) .

Appreciate your feedback as contemplating changing tyres.

I think for daily street tires, either ad08r or the older rs3 coz both still have more reasonable grooves and cuts for water channels. Rs4 has very minimal water channels.

I don't know much about AD08R but....

For trackdays & weekend drives, RS4. Had a friend who races in MSF (tyres supplied by Hankook) used the same set of RS4 from round 1 to final round without any drop off in performance (including trackdays. He even finish on podium in all rounds & winning the category championship).

Yes agree with your observation the Neovas have bigger channel to disperse the water. I didn’t like the older RS3 feeling at the limit. Traction break away too quickly. I’ve run ad07s along time ago and didn’t like them too the side wall was wobbly. But the Ad08r has/is one of the hardest side wall tires now.

Noticed too a lot of the top runners on time to attack run the RS4 Z232 with crazy timings. Didn’t know that the RS4 are so heat resistant and consistent.

AD08R has steel inserts on the sidewall so that's why the sidewall is very stiff. If you don't like RS3 then I think better go with AD08R unless you want to drive like a turtle in the wet.

Slow and steady always wins the race.... Hankook RS4
Also has steel inserts, some say apparently better compound and thread pattern and technology. all the top cars on time to attack Is running this Z232 tire if you notice. RS4 that bad wet handling ? Yeah if there is standing water most UHP tire just hydroplane except for the fast road tires like pilot sports, pirelli n Potenza , If it’s raining usually can’t drive fast also but I know some people drive exceptionally well in the wet, but I’m
not one of them. 😅

Well wouldn't that actually mean you need better wet tire performance? I think also regardless of driving skills, we would need tires that perform better in the wet if using it for daily drive in Malaysia due to our climate.

True dat, but for my use it’s mostly weekend and sometimes Daily la.... but driven less n less now... don’t wan rack up mileage on it and wear and tear.

Oh in that case then the RS4 should still be fine.

Zestino have way harder sidewalls than AD08R at almost half price.
Ok on wet, and lasted me about a year and over 20k km.

Too bad current distributor(s) stopped bringing in and you can only find leftover stocks if you're lucky.

Ahh.... AD08R... still the best tires i ever had. Too bad the price point and wear rate doesn't suit my current rides

It’s still slightly cheaper but some are marking up the price a lot.
