help me choose!! vario 150 or rs150

office travel to and fro around 70km. sometimes need to travel within klang valley.

Im a bit heavy around 90kg and going to need extra space/ box for stuff like laptop

vario 8k otr
rs150 9k++ otr

I want to include 135lc or y15 but friends suggest that parking/safety going to be issue cause I travel so parking going to be risky.

yeah so Im looking for comfy safe ride with good pickup and suspension

both got good pick up. cvt in vario will be slower a bit. this is same case as nvx VS y15. even though vario & rs150 same engine, cvt transmission will make vario slower.. suspension wise, nah.. if u want comfort & stability, can't depend on stock suspension. need to fork out money. upgrade to rcb/kozi/yss adjustable suspension with gas. it will suite ur body weight & riding preferences better. cornering also become more stable. the rear suspension normally around 300-500+ only. small investment for better riding experience. front however, suspension is much more expensive, around 500-700. if money no issue, get the upside down front fork (usd).. May costs close to 1k.. but for normal riding, just upgrade ur rear suspension will be sufficient enough..

kalau want to spend so much money, mod here mod there, USD fork, might as well get a better ride...

Jem o not? No jem your call. Kalau JEM, get the Vario. Don't expect 120kph speed on the vario, 100 maybe.

although vario is scooter, it doesn't have lots of space inside the seat so no clear advantage going for scooter.
RS150 imho. put box at the back

why not PCX?
larger compartment space, easy to manouver, large tank, fuel economic, cheap road tax (mine only RM2 only), not hot motor for thief, not too big not too small, good torque (but top speed only 110 unless mod).

sporty but lack compartment space.
if you mostly ride it on highway that require more power, RS150
if you travel mostly in traffic jam, I would recommend scooter. u need more torque (pickup) than hp (well, I mean top speed).

Currently using RS150, For highway and long distance its good, for storage just install J Rack n 32 box, and always bring extra u lock for safety. But if u always travel via in traffic jem and narrow passage, its recommended that u buy a scooter, Vario is a good buy, safety wise and practicality, just search via youtube, there is a lot of review not just vario, but Nvx and Nmax also. Your choise sir. Just sharing my 2 cents. thumbup.gif

Get a Vario... cold scooter. Highly unlikely to get stolen.
