Oh god. Why link to [T] of all places. They are famous for ranting and their NV bias. Try techreport.com.
And nvnews sounds like they would obviously be an unbiased source, yes. The NV part of the name is just for shits and giggles. This post has been edited by ikanayam: Jun 10 2007, 11:28 PM |

You won't find it because the midrange and low end of the hd2000 series have not been launched. Sigh.

ATI's HD2xxx series, I don't know why is NOWHERE close to the performance of the 8800 GTX. I told myself, yeah, GeForce 8800 GTX is flying now but wait until ATI releases it's new graphics card. ATI's new HD2xxx series was released and...dissapointment. Actually, it's a joy for Nvidia! Hooray to Nvidia ! I believe through drivers, ATI can close the gap but NEVER take the lead over Nvidia. Nvidia's upcoming 8900 GTX is rumored to have 1.0Gb memory and sporting TWO graphics processor on a single unit !!! Take that ATI !!!

if u want 8800gtx or gts, here's a breaking news
QUOTE According to the graphics card makers, NVIDIA may be cutting prices across the board soon and advising some of their partners to keep their inventory low. GeForce 8800 Ultra should be receiving the biggest cut and price may fall to as low as US$599. 8800GTX and 8800 GTS prices may be lowered as well to better compete against the Radeon HD 2900XT. 8600GTS and 8600GT should receive some price cuts as well when HD 2600 and 2400 cards start to flood the market. It seems that NVIDIA is adopting the price cutting strategy to put down their competitor before they have any chance to recoup any market share. http://sg.vr-zone.com/?i=5049 |
