The points back is immediate for any of the reward you redeem. You redeem one item, 40% points back to you when you refresh the rewards page. I dont sense the points given back has expiry.

If you are wondering why they do it this way, i guess well, you need to have the 1600 points before you can redeem anything lo. They dont want to directly allow you to reedem at 960 points.

Btw, i noticed this. The pink qr dont work. I scan grab pink qr, the rm3 does not apply even though i open from the voucher.

So means only original grab green qr can get the rm3 is it?

nope. gonna terminate 1 week before september. i'm not grabfood user. once in a blue moon might sign up GrabUnlimited for that RM5 grabcar to airport voucher.

grabfood current price is not sustainable for middle income earners like me. i kept paying RM0.01 just for the higher grab points earning.

but using less and less grab anyway because so hard to find grab QR code. i use the bank's own qrpay or TnG. cause TnG qr still more common.

Got. I will use grabpay but wont pay rm4.90 for something i dont use, subscription useless to me.

OK I called just now and the CS told me that there's no way to deactivate the paylater after it's activated, which mean you must link a card and can't remove it. She suggested me to link to a card that I seldom use. I was like WTF. After complain she said will feedback to the management about this.

Hi everyone. I got another update from grab. So you can deactivate grabpay later, but you still cannot de-link the card.

So... dont bother. If you have a concern about any card saved with grab, just use a debit card with low balance in it. Sadly, that is the only way for now.

Unless you really use grabfood i dont think it's worth it to subscribe to it at normal price of rm4.90. When i did subscribe on using rm1, i really just mainly use it for the better point redemption, and earning points. We use it to pay insurance that month so, after redeeming, it was worth the $. But normal days, rm1 is not worth it too. They still have 2000points for rm20 jaya grocer. That is still worth it.

The rest now are grabfood signature and grabmart signature. This one, so so la or useless for those who dont order grabfood/grabmart

Notice something new in the loyalty programme thing. Seems like jaya grocer loyalty programme but in the form of grab points. Does not mention that grabpay payment is needed for this.

Anyone shop often at jaya can do this.

Double dip with aia vitality, grab points, other credit card rewards.

The usual points is if you pay with grabpay to any merchant.

Now is pay with any payment method can earn points also.

From what i can see, yes.

I memang shop at jaya grocer, 60% of the time. will just flash and earn points. But i am already using less grabpay due to banks cutting benefit on ewallet reload. How practically useful this will be, dunno la. But function tested and used.
