Hi guys, so apparently we can claim the lounge pass in the Grab rewards catalouge in 1 day. My concern is, has anyone tried to use 1 account with multiple lounge voucher and enter PPL?

For instance, my account I claim 2 vouchers. Assuming me and my partner wish to enter the lounge, can I immediately use the 2 vouchers or each voucher is capped maybe within 24hrs?

U can.

But please take note and read tnc.

It is not free. It is still payable in case you missed out the written tnc 😂

And yes. U can redeem multiples. No issues. Janji u willing to pay. It’s good for claims got actual receipt shows higher charges.

Yeap, I know I have to pay. I've went and used it before. xD It's just that I've just started working and my income isn't there yet. So this is my cheapest option.

Ah, damn. Good refresher. Totally forgotten about it and has been  scanning blindly without a second thought. It's just too many minute details to think about during payment.

On the other hand, don't recall coming across many Grabpay DNQR, mostly Maybank/TnG, even Boost.

In my case, I seldom have to scan them though, most of the time, they scan me.
*
They scan u = u get points.
U scan them = depends on what DNQR u scan.
Usually when you scan them and after you input your $$ value, they will instantly show you “You’ll earn x points!” before you pay.

Just apply for MBB Grab CC.
Tldr, just by reloading you have already earned 3.125% “cashback” via points.

Does anyone knows which oulet accept GrabPay?

i bought some clothes in Uniqlo and paid by GrabPay and get points, but the next day i went to Fishbow and use GrabPay but no points, only i know is it because of GrabPay QR Code,

But i wonder which shops accept Grab Pay and give points, or anyone know the full list? Thanks
*
You scan them, the QR code must be either from Grab themselves or if it's DNQR, the partner bank MUST BE Grab.
If they scan you, 99% of the time there will be points awarded.
As for a list, we don't have a list.

Mine still rm4.9

Cancel it. Wait until it's expired and the notification to come in (T+1 day) then you'll be able to see if it's RM1 or 1 cent.

Hopefully grab don’t devalue the points anytime soon
*
So far, I've seen Grab maintained 165 GP = RM1 for years (correct me if I'm wrong).

They give points multiplier throughout the years and recently decrease the point multiplier but they macam never drop their stand of RM1 = 165 GP.

Still, I also pray they do not change their stand.

btw, since we can only pay a maximum of RM1,500 per day on Grab, I wonder IF we can do more than RM1,500 worth of points payment per day?

Using 165 GP = RM1
I would like to buy item ABC @ RM2,000, can I use my points of 330,00 GrabPoints to offset/buy the item?

Don't think there's a limit on points usage, but you could try and let us know.

Plan to use some points with my current strategy to offset my next year's massive purchase. I'll update by then.

Quick question. True or false.

QR = GrabPay's QR.

If I scan their QR, I am able to use my points to offset my payment.
If they scan my QR on the app, I am NOT able to use my points at all.

Correct?

False. Now they scan you also can use points.

Indeed I was fascinated by this. Few days back (I can't rmb which shop) I went somewhere and when they scan me, suddenly I saw on my Grab app that I needed to swipe to pay and there were options as well to pay via Installment or Points yada yada.

Can anyone confirm this is happening everywhere now? They scan me, I can choose to pay via points/instalment yada yada?

One outlet I remember was @ Molly Fantasy where they scan me and that's it, auto deducted. Why never ask me to swipe to pay and so on?

As far as my experience goes, not everywhere. Petron has the "swipe" thing, Tesco has it, but 99 Speedmart does not.
*
Interesting. Can anyone report if they seen such thing @ any Apple Authorised Reseller outlets? If so, which one?

I thought applied to all transactions now. Got it at Mr Dollar, Taco Bell and even a small groceries store.

The first time I got it I just buat bodoh and didn't realise until the cashier said "Sir, can you swipe on your phone?" then only I looked down on my phone lol.

yup me too. Now need to swipe to approve every payment.

Watsons and Ben's Independent Grocer also need to swipe to pay.
*
Hmmm. I just visited Aeon Big, instant payment. No swipe needed.

I wonder what's the requirement on their end for us the need to swipe to happen.

this does not apply to me pulak. sweat.gif
my purchases from a few ringgit to a few hundred also trigger swipe.
anyway, I think it's acceptable, just a swipe, never mind..
*
It kinda matter to me because, with the swipe, I have the payment options as if I were to scan Grab's own QR.

Also, because I'm planning to use my points (which you are able to select if that screen pops up) @ this retail store.

New feature (they scan us, we need to swipe to pay + pay via instalment/points) coming soon as confirmed by Grab's CS. "Upgrade" is being implemented in batches. No timeline yet though so right now, it's a "hit or miss". thumbup.gif

Anyone got feedback from Grab or Speedmart?

Update : this is the answer I got from Grab.

it's been quite a while already since this so called upgrade. Didn't expect it could take so long.

"done in batches"
"no timeline/frame"

We are usually @ the mercy of any service but think again, one day GrabPay doesn't work with X merchant, GrabPay is losing money for that day's worth of transactions. We shall just hope, and see when they'll be done "updating". TBH it's frustrating as well.
