Yeah saw this, thanks. But there are few other better options if the Grab offer is no more.
So far Grab offer is the best

Can I use Malaysia Grab app for Grab Car in Singapore and Thailand?
*
QUOTE(harrishkrishna1 @ Dec 29 2019, 07:52 PM)
It's just one app. No Malaysian app and all that. Just different version swithin the same thing. So, yes you can use it in foreign ASEAN countries.

QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Dec 29 2019, 08:02 PM)
What is the payment mode? Wallet? CC?
*
In Philippines I can use both CC and Grab Credits to pay. But in Thailand, no issue for transportation as they accept CC but I recall I have issues on some transactions (if not mistaken in-store), where need to pay with Grab Credits but they don't allow me to top up, it said need a Thai phone number to "activate" or register the account for such transaction.

Cool. What about the currency shown in the app? Is it changed to local currency or remained myr?
*
When in overseas everything shown in the app will be in that foreign currency, and you can swap your wallet balance ie if you top up before in Philippines, then you can swap your wallet to PHP

p/s: I realised our earning rate is a lot higher than other countries (their redemption rate is not better than us)

It should be in after you relaunch the app. Anyway, why are we being given 2k points? Isn't it supposed to be just 1k?
*
Why so much concern on the 2k points? If being short-changed then ok la, if Grab wants to award more then better

QUOTE(siahkh @ Jan 2 2020, 03:19 PM)
maybe is 2x reward point for platinum user  biggrin.gif

Extended till 14 March 2020, earn up to 3x GrabRewards points when you use GrabPay for in-store payments, online shopping, and top-up mobile prepaid credits

Dunno why got a feeling that they will just keep on extending to encourage spending using GrabPay
*
It's really not surprising in fact I've expected them to do so, else it's rather useless without promo already.

For food and ride, there's no concern because even with zero points, at least still earn from CC and you can't use other e-wallet, so no alternative, as long as you want to use from Grab on these two, then regardless Grab award points or not it doesn't matter.

But for in-store and online etc, I'll definitely not use Grab if 3x points, compared to previous in-store was 20x. Without promo, other e-wallet or even pay with CC is so much better than Grab.

Grab definitely realised this, until they manage to find some better solution to stay in the competition, I still don't see they reduce to 3x

I guess it is good just for converting to Krisflyer since It is better than AMEX
*
Not better than MBB 2 cards premier if we're considering 3x Grab Points only, unless you're paying for those restricted transactions which earn less points under the MBB card.

Unfortunately my salary does not allow me to get a MBB 2 cards premier. actually i was thinking for a M40 fresh graduate they should be getting CB from CC and e-wallet rather than kris flyer since krisflyer have expired limit.

I think grabpay would change their points system near future since his competitor is getting more aggresive in promoting their E-wallet

We can just pray for competition to sustain longer for all of us to enjoy the benefit

The e-tunai is from Ministry of Finance not from Boost, Grabpay or TnG Digital.
You think you can get 3X RM30 without submitting your identity?

Anyway you are lucky, you will get 1X RM30 free credit to spend.
I don't qualify.  tongue.gif

laugh.gif I'm also not qualified, no chance to get that RM 30. tongue.gif

If I were to be qualified, I will take TnG. laugh.gif

If only it is 3x30. laugh.gif

Yeah, I think so. They've stated RM10-1200points for food and Grabcar which is consistent with the current rewards. eg: RM5 Syabas 600pts. I doubt they'll reduce the points needed for reward redemption.
*
I thought so too when they were changing from 20x to 9x, I thought such drastic reduction in earning rate for sure points redemption will maintain, or even reduce.

But let's give an example here. Penang Chendul was 400 points, then down to 510 points, then now 530 points and need to pay RM 1.50

Oh sorry didn't check on the model, anyway their redemption variety really terrible nowadays, really feel like dying off already.

Last time some more so hyped up got members day etc, but only lasted few times and most of it were those yoga/gym classes.
