I did not choose the 'buy gold' but join the 'Durian Runtuh Smart Saver' campaign. Therefore i am not sure if i accidentally got the 500 points.

u cannot join the contest without buy. only buy gold with grabpay will get 500 point also

For the bonus points you received in the bold part above, does the description write this wording'' expire xx date' as well? Mine wrote as ',expire 27 November 2020', so does it really expired on 27 November 2020?

I checked the expired date of my overall grab points, it read as 'xxx points will expire on 28 Feb 2021' which include the 500 bonus point that was credited. So the 500 points must be redeem by 27 November 2020 or 28 February 2021?

seldom point will expired due to reward. Normally is reward expired. Check on reward, does it listed as reward. If yes, then it will expire.
If normal point, follow the expire date. (this one can extend with 1 transaction)

I got it on 23 october and yes there is "... expires 25 Oct 2020". I used it the following day. It is a waste if it does expire.

It is also make sense if the points do not expire for next 3 months as long as u use gp as that is how points expiration works in gp.

I also got such bonus points last month. Not sure too how to get those points. But I did a Grab delivery the day before I got those points. And there's also expiry, which got to be utilised in 2 days. I somehow managed to convert it into RM3 grabfood voucher with 450 points, which have a much longer expiry. And the remaining 50 points did expire and was deducted from my total points.
