After that someone mentioned the grabpay channel closed.

Really?
I have no opportunity to verify as I don't intend to open a direct investment account with Eastspring Investment.

I used most portion of GrabPay $$ to Elinking reload.

From Elinking, I found I could buy TNG Softpin to reload my TNG Wallet.
But need to take note on charges (80 cent to rm1.5) depends on value of softpin. It sometimes could offset with vouchers from Elinking spin.

This flow makes me to prioritize my TNG Wallet again in some purchases.  laugh.gif

But there's not much rewards from TnG e-wallet.
The Goal Hunter thing is kind of let down and you'll be rewarded a stamp with min purchase of RM 10.

hi, anybody here usingthe maybank Grab CC?

used the card for few transactions already but still the normal 3x points (topup wallet, use grabpay to purchase)

or is the additional multiplier will be reimbursed later date?
*
How much points are expecting?

The 5x points from using Grab Card comes from Maybank not from Grab.

Q12 : When will I receive my Maybank GrabRewards Points after using the card?
A12 : The Maybank GrabRewards Points will be updated in the Grab application on a T + (3 to 5) working days basis, once the transaction is posted into the Maybank GRAB Mastercard Platinum Credit Card.

Check your points history. There should have entries like "Grab x Maybank Points"

Any idea how much is that point worth? say if topup RM100 will be 800 points?
*
Top up RM 100 into GrabPay with Maybank Grab Card -> 500 points
Spend that RM 100 from GrabPay (not excluded transactions) -> 300 points (for Platinum)

~800 points = RM 5

Grab says Q3 revenue rises to more than 95% of pre-pandemic levels

user posted image

SINGAPORE: Singapore-based Grab, which has evolved from a ride-hailing app operator to a one-stop shop for services such as food delivery and insurance, said on Thursday its third-quarter group revenue had risen to more than 95% of pre-COVID-19 levels.

"Our business recovery continues steadily, with Q3 group revenues climbing to over 95% of pre-COVID-19 levels. Our food business now generates more than 50% of our revenues," Ming Maa, president of Grab, said in an emailed newsletter on the company's business update. - Reuters

thought is 5%? spend RM100 get 800 grabpoint = RM5?
*
I think he's referring to the Maybank Grab portion:

Top up RM 100 into GrabPay or spend within Grab app with Maybank Grab Card -> 500 points (~3.125%)
Spend that RM 100 from GrabPay (not into excluded transactions) -> 300 points (for Platinum) (~1.875%)

*800 points = ~RM 5

Starbucks seems like doesn't accept GrabPay for in-store payment.
Only Boost and TnG e-wallet.

But it is the highest reward giving e-wallet at the moment with innate 1.875% cashback (approximate)
Compared to TNG with no base reward and Boost currently fluctuating reward...
GP is the current best e-wallet atm

The best feature that GrabPay has now is pay with points at checkout. thumbup.gif

Totally agree TNG is the most useless if no promo, but somehow I think it's the most popular....

Yes, its adoption rate at hawker centre, wet market and night market seems like better than Boost.

GrabPay on the hand is still lagging behind.
