That’s odd. I was using as usual (the basic GrabPay) on Thursday night and it was fine. But when I used again on Friday night, it’s prompting me to upload IC.

I thought they have been enhancing their security with facial recognition which includes a selfie upload of your own but not sure if NRIC upload is needed together with this.

The announcement was made 2 to 3 weeks back together with Anthony Loke.

If I rarely take Grab, what would be the best use of the points other than KF miles?

Manage to hit Grab Plat after few weeks of spending.

Grab Rewards got Syabas RM5 bill payment for 600 points.

I only use for prepaid topups but RM5 at a time. Still have 35000 points to use.

When you use the reward, it’ll ask you for your account number. That’s it. Just like using the prepaid topup reward. I used one about 4hrs ago but Syabas not updated yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Anyone using Grab Rewards RM5 DiGi reload. Please check your validity. Looks a glitch somewhere causing the reload to have same-day validity. ie: you reload on the 29th, it expires at the end of the 29th.

recently went to some small restaurant and the restaurant stick grabfood and grabpay, reach counter for payment then waiter said unable to use grabpay because system down

This is more like excuses for me, is grab treating the merchant badly or delaying the payment?

Hey guys. Any news on Grabpay mastercard. Are they really going to introduce it. We're now in Q2 already.

Grabpay can't be "system down" because it only relies on QR code and an app instead of a terminal...

Can definitely say that the merchant is giving BS excuses.

i faced at least 2-3 merchant like this, of course i didn't ask further. While those chain stores or big stores has no problem in grabpay payment.
