How come when I scan at Speedmart 99 or Hero Market, I earn points, but I cannot seem to use the points?

Today, I saw the option to redeem earned points at Subway...so what gives. How can I know which transactions can use earned points to offset the final price?

The only way to be sure is to scan Grab QR

Otherwise on terminal scan it will be difficult to tell unless the Merchant is willing to disclose it you

Same goes with getting grab points upon purchase as well

Where did you all go and redeem your grab points now? Recently just realised that the point redeemed can't be more than the daily limit of RM1.5k.

So meaning those post of people redeeming iPhone with 1mil points are fake?

Not fake because points redemption is maximum to what your account is available 🤦‍♀️ while spending is limit to daily at 1500 and maximum of 10k monthly

Never tried this, do you mean the points to cash function cannot go above RM 1.5k in a day?
so if spent RM 100 on food, only can redeem RM 1.4k worth of points in the next payment in the same day?

Points redemption is unlimited subject to your account points

The daily 1500 limit is based upon your balance in the Grab Wallet itself

Not that I know of, tried redeeming a phone recently online but it hit some error.

Messaged call centre and was told spend(grab wallet & point redemption) has a maximum of RM1.5k (amount or points redemption - around 200k++ daily)

Tried on both Samsung and apple resellers online website.

Probably no one really accumulated such pts and redeem all at once like you... It's very good to know the limit... Maybe they clamp down the abuse after the apple purchase gone viral...

What I did was to use FoneApp to topup RM60 credit with RM50 grabpay voucher + RM10 cash... Then purchase RM200/500 TnGO voucher... Store "cash" value in TouchnGO for bulk spending...

my mom's grab account suddenly got suspended out of the blue today..

when try to login it says due to suspicious activity and ask to submit appeal form.

contacted grab on fb/twitter and they gave the reason account got suspended because "system detected multiple IDs being created on same device". They cant do anything and ask to wait for the appeal team to get back to her within FIVE days.

and i know for a fact that is bullshit already, my mom is 60+ years old.
1) she dont need to create multiple grab, she is a frequent grab user who have been using the very same account since day 1 of joining grab since 2017/2018
2) she dont even know how to log out of her current account let alone make "MULTIPLE IDS".

both of us are furious about it. because she needed to use her grab just now and suddenly found out suspended so cant use and she had to contact me to get help for her. This is so fucking inconvenient and stupid. I really feel like fucking grab up. But here's the thing, you cant even fucking contact them other than through social media which they take ages to reply.

Absolutely bullshit man. and damn wasting people's time.

is there any way to contact grab CS other than through their
fb/twitter?? Talking to them on there is so slow nothing going to be done.

i tried calling hotline but it need some generated number from the app.

it is likely has nothing to do with your mother (the individual)! chill la

grab system detected her grab account being used in a device, where the same device being used for other grab accounts too

again, nothing to do with your mother's action.

so, only you/someone can answer whether the same device (aka phone) has been used to login multiple grab accounts.

it's not about your mother/mom's phone creating multiple accounts.

it could be another device(s) were used to login your mom's grab account, hence her account being flagged.

think back, did she/you attempted to login using other device after found out the app already logged out?


no point dwelling the issue here (will never end) as only you can dispute this with Grab to uplift the suspension.

just follow their instruction by filling the dispute form.

See it is your mother fault on updating the app 🤦‍♀️ and blame grab because it is not that easy to login without OTP unless your mother phone has been phished

Instead of relying Grab why not use AirAsia rides and others 🤦‍♀️
