Cant be 3rd h-disk.., 2 sata...1 IDE

i have 2 Sata hdisk and try to put another IDE hdisk..it has window xp installed on it but will format that hdisk later..the problem is..i want it boot win vista that installed on Sata hdisk and make the IDE hdisk the 3rd one..so i can format that hdisk later..
