If your car got no engine oil consumption problem yes you can go for thinner viscosity engine oil.

Suggest branded HDEO deisel oil CJ4/CI4 15W40 in Shell Rimula or Petronas for a few oil changes and see how it works.

Have you checked other components if they are well before concluding its oil grade causing noise & fuel usage?

No but previously im using other brand EO. Once change to this EO then become noisy.

My car is always noisy but when changed to this oil its become worser.😅

what is your fuel consumption like and what kind of noise are u talking about?

i used to have iswara, and the fuel consumption is awesome @ 12km/l . 1 full tank 45 liters can go for 500+km

I maintain my car with 5w50 Mobil 1 fully synthetic and original proton oil filter. change at every 5,000km or 6 month.

I have old wira with 180k km mileage at home...it share the same engine as saga

I feed it with full synthetic shell 5w-40 or sometimes castrol 5w-30 depends on giant promo

So far so good

Need to check your engine condition first

Got smoke coming out or not? Is it leaks oil? Does it burn oil or not, if all pass then can try use lower viscosity engine oil

After every 1000km using lower viscosity oil, check oil level, if it burns oil then the viscosity is not suitable to your engine condition. Consider increase the viscosity next service smile.gif
