i think even this is true, it's gonna take a while for the market to adopt. existing HTC customers will still require support & services for WMx. OS shift is a major thing, not an over-nite exercise, it requires proper planning and there will be transition period.

Damn, then I will switch to O2
But I hope HTC extends its platform, and not switch platform. For example, having HTC devices that run Linux, HTC devices that run Windows, and HTC devices that run Symbian. |

lol, it already has windows, so it MIGHT still provide support for it. but i'm eager for linux version, that'll be damn cool. but symbian, sux bad, Nokia proves it with super unstable OS, frequent hangings and bugs. Unless, HTC can come up with a more stable symbian...
btw, i think o2 manufactured by HTC also leh....no? |

I eagerly to see linux mobile os ability, if they tend to make stable os go on. Even my old desktop KDE somehow hanged.

yea, i eager for linux as well. also, less virus problems and all as well. but then again, i wonder if it'll affect current applications and games for the current pda.

for WM got. my friend got. he loves to make/do stuff with virus wan. i said dun have, then he ask me to connect my pda to his laptop he say he gimme virus. and sure enough, i can no longer access my memory card, cannot detect memory card. also cannot access start menu

There are quite a few designer viruses out there for WM but only very few (or none) at large capable of spreading widely.
