Currently I am trying to check my credit card balance, and had requested like 5 times in the last 10 minutes. None of those SMS OTPs arrived until now. So.... what now?

Open your sms apps. Sometimes the notification does not prompt at notification area but ur phone has actually receive them. Happened to my samsung s9.

Most probably maxis, maxis is quite bad lately. MyMaxis online down since dunno when. Hotlink Flex also down since dunno when. Can't even check usage history or billing history. Got to back to old skool style, sms to check

Do you install any app like true caller or something like that recently?...if yes try to uninstall that app...happen to me last time, not getting any tac after multiple time request...after uninstall that app, received it as usual

check your spam sms folder, sometimes banks use vendor that previously did blast for something you blocked

Truecaller app is shit for sms

I just reboot my phone and everything is back to normal. Not sure if my phone got issue...

OTP is bank's responsibility since they are the one who engage 3rd party company to provide the SMS service. These 3rd party companies are not attached to any telcos. They make profit from the bank, and need to pay to telco for each SMS sent to the telco's customers. AFAIK, the bank is responsible to ensure OTP SMSes are delivered to customer 100% of the time within SLA, hence banks usually have back up 3rd party company in case the primary one fails. This rule is set by bank negara. If the bank fail to solve your issue, you can complain straight to bank negara.

At the same time, if you did MNP or switch your mobile service provider recently, this might cause the issue too.

Complain to bank first and get them to verify, they have the logs and details to properly confirm if it is your problem or not.

In the meanwhile, do check your own phone especially the ol' default message app instead of whatever message add-on app (e.g. Facebook Messenger) that you are using. I realised that it always delayed my alerts and removed it from default settings.
