Though it has been delayed, I would like to know what's the total impact of such trade tariff on electronic goods, particularly on home electronic, PC, laptop and smartphone.
Will TV, or pc component price to be increased by 10% or even closer to 20%?

QUOTE(the100308 @ Dec 4 2018, 01:02 AM) Thanks. Component pricing based in usd won't be translated to the pricing in Malaysia? it is like our import duty for imported cars. it only affects imported goods being shipped to usa which the government will collect extra taxes on. so unless you purchase your components from amazon usa, which basically similar to getting a component made in china which is shipped to usa and then shipped to malaysia, i don't think you will see an increase in price.

Most likely no direct effect but if there's components needed to pass thru China or USA b4 selling internationally, price hike is possible
