hi guys , important question here, i bought a house with my girl friend last year (not married yet) , both the property and loan is under joint name, and the property is yet to completed until end of year 2019 ,but unfortunately we decide to go separate way ,we still servicing the interest of the loan based on 50 : 50 ratio now

1. may i know how can i convert the full ownership to my own name ?
2. when can i do the process? must be the property completed or i can do it now?
3. what happen if the other party does not agree to convert the full ownership to my name?

p/s : dont ever joint name for property even how lovely you two , because we never know what will happen in future

thanks for the answer!

What if married couple ? They also will divorced too.

To answer your question, u need to wait the loan fully disbursement and property is completed, then u can do refinance and under ur name via sales purchase agreement. So other party will agree to sign the agreement to sell her 50% share to u.
