Its getting real guys... for PLASMA fans, it is the time for an upgrade. OLED tv is getting more affordable. But unlike PLASMA where Panasonic is the only way to go.. i think OLED has a somewhat on a level playing field between LG panasonic and Sony.

I will be upgrading my 7 year old Pana Plasma for an OLED next year. appreciate if any OLED user can share their experience. ANd any retailer to share any OLED tv offer offer here.. at least we all can gain something.

LG vs Panasonic vs SOny OLED tv.... which is the way to go?

ok.. so need feedback from some serious oled tv user... i am leaning towards panasonic OLED tv. but everyone kept saying LG is better. is it better?

On a different note, these burn in thing is almost the same issue 7-8 years back with plasma. a lot of people were saying dont buy plasna because of this. but i've been using it and it haven't happen to me... yet. maybe because i mainly watch movies and streaming various provider, not just stuck at one channel. so no major logo stuck at the screen yet.

even then testing the tv 24-7 will heat up the screen and it'll be more prone to burn in. why do you want to switch on the tv 24-7?

You really have to see it with your own eyes, from what I know LG uses more contrasty approach on their OLED lineup while Sony more cinematic and natural looking. OLED panel mostly produce by LG hence not much difference in panel spec. I personally prefer Sony X1 Extreme/Ultimate more than others. Not to mention Sony using Android TV which get apps updated pretty frequently.

Thanks.. will have a look at the X1 extreme model.. A lot of people using LG. finally have one person bias towards Sony. cinematic and natural looking seems like a sale already. haha
