Hi everyone need some advice on how to proceed with my situation

I am currently in a q list for a housing development project and have paid off a booking deposit of 1k at the end of September at their office.

Until today after 2 months I still dont have the final say of whether I am getting the unit. Apparently the other applicants of about 20 who got a unit have yet to receive confirmation on their loan.

Do loan application usually take this long? Or is there other possible reason why?

FYI, the agent is trying to push another development project which is out of my preferred range to me.

Means that the bank is delaying till january since they have already reached their annual quota for housing loans?

Is it normal to take more than 2 months for decision on a housing loan

2 months is way too long for consumer-sector kind of loan approvals. When officers do not get back to customers, there are only a few reasons -

1. Your DSR cannot pass.
2. Quota already hit so move forward / delay first so that they can plan ahead and use your loan to fill upcoming months' KPI.
3. If other applicants are too experience the problem, maybe there's something the bank has yet to settle with the developer.

Nonetheless, you should call up the banker; if not approach other banks. Don't waste time.

hi my loan has not yet been process because i have not received a unit yet currently still in q list.

I have waited for 2 months for the other applicants to get confirmation on their loans, I find it weird that it would take this long.

thanks for the feedback

I see, thanks for the response. In your opinion should I wait until January in the q?

I wander what sort of project is this. In today market still need to queue? And not able to choose select your prefer unit? Such high demand project.

This is in which area? I'm really curious.

If I was you, I will be applying with more banks, then compare the rate. Check if there is other panel banks from developer.

ive checked with banks and so far they have no issues even offer 100% financing due to it being my first home.

problem is the unit is still unavailable even after 2 months and I am still in the q list
