 32400 Subcription RM4 gone without knowing, SPAM & SCAM Subcription

My number is 017-6517143, kindly stop this unlawful subscription that violate our term of usage. Never did anything to subscribe and now RM4 gone. Please refund, thank you.

Call your telco and report.

Also check the permission of the apps you installed and see if they are allowed to read and send sms.

Nowadays this is very rampant.
Within 2 weeks, I received 2 of such scams.
Called 123 to report and claim back the money.
They said they will not return the money if it happens again.
They care blaming us for this type of scams.

I wonder if whatsapp is the one selling out their client database, cause I only installed whatsapp, instagram, facebook and line.

Call up Hotlink 123 to report this scam immediately.
Tell them to stop all these scams and refund all those charges.
They always blame the users for clicking those links while surfing the internet.

It is disturbing to know RM16 has been taken out of my balance without me knowing. And I message the Maxis rep here and silence is my answer from.

Update : Miraculously I received a SMS from 32400 so I can stop it. Adding salt to injury I need to spend 15cent to cancelled a subscription I never subscribe which scammed me RM16.

This is after I submitted a complaint to MCMC, but I still need my money back

just curious..why didnt stop it immediately once u notice it on the 1st time...it is obviously a scam and happen quite some time

The problem is that I barely use this number and this number was to used as backup. The moment I realized they already scammed me RM12. Also to stop it you will need to know their shortcode "PIEH"

Well for start I have made a report to MCMC, send my email for asking for refund on MACRO KIOSK. Will update what is the reply from them here, hopefully this can benefits people like me.

Blardy hell why did they allow such thing to happen? My wife number also kena such thing recently , hv to call up maxis and maxis ask to call macrokiosk to ask for refund. Now still pending refund , they say will refund within 15 working days.

As you have said it, they will do a "goodwill" refund to me 15 working days. Thats, 3 weeks.

Blardy scammers really. Imagine most of the ppl don’t claim from them. Earning such haram money seriously.

No, they don't do that. They'll be shooting themselves in the foot if they did that.

What phone are you using, or have previously used with this SIM card? Some cheap phone makes are preloaded with bloatware that is baked into the ROM.

This macro kiosk memang has a history of all these spammy malicious advertisements for Rm 4 smses and apps.

Really teruk those fellas. Because of people like them, those trying to provide legit SMS services kena burn also

i using u mobile also kena that kind of scam and i did complain to CS then they help me do refund the amount charged but SST still charged in my bill...

Maxis gets RM0.57 (RM0.15 from the Mobile Originator Message + 42% of Mobile Terminator Message)
Content Provider or aggregator gets RM0.58 (58% of the Mobile Terminator Message)


Each month, MCP is entitled to send (to MCP’s client) an equivalent number of Mobile Terminator (MT) message(s) for every Mobile Originator (MO) message(s) received from MCP’s client (with no premium value attached) at no cost. Excess total number MT messages for that month will be charged based on band of use as per Bulk SMS pricing table below:

Band of Usage Unitary Price Per SMS (RM)
First 0 – 25,000 0.095
Next 25,001 – 50,000 0.085
Next 50,001 – 100,000 0.075
Next 100,001 – 250,000 0.065
Next 250,001 – 500,000 0.055
Next 500,001 – 3,000,000 0.050


Example:
If 21 MO messages are received by a particular MCP for the month of June, that MCP is entitled to send 21 MT messages for free during the same month at no cost. The 22nd MT message would be charged.
