Medical check up can be done anyday anytime, PSV courses and exam 1 day easily, puspakom check another half day like that, submission of form and obtain form another half day, easily cost another 2-3 days for part timer, on top of that RM800 extra cost.
Assumed it’s age limit & not ‘mandatory’. Speaking in current context, vehicles that registers an age of below 5yrs., not above are allowed. Those that have enrolled from the early stage are allowed up to 10yrs. (Similar with cabs). These bills were passed to address the question you’ve raised : -Land Public Transport (Amendment) Bill 2017 -Land Public Transport (Amendment) Bill 2018 The current representatives parliament meeting ended 11/Apr/2019. Any new enactment(s), shall be tabled on 1/July/2019 to 12/July/2019. Reforms are taking place to replace SPAD & the new entity, APAD will assume the role as regulator while JPJ unchanged as the enforcement. Only a minister of transport is allowed to make amendments to a bill before parliament.
inside the amendment doesn't write any, so i think it is entire up to MOT decision, what i've seen is 5 years limit on e-hailing car.
