Are there any places that sell original putu mayam in Masjid Jamek area, in the morning (roughly around 9.00am)?
Cuz I travel to work using LRT both Sri Petaling and Kelana Jaya line.

I went into one of the mamak today and bought one, the guy took it from a plastic bag and "ovened" it for a few minutes then charged me for RM1.00 per pc! I bought 3pcs. And I asked for santan and gula, the guy even said "tak ada"! So I just came to work and put my own sugar lol. It was a let down.

Anyone can suggest to me? Out of Masjid Jamek area also no problem (make sure near LRT stations haha).

Do you mean the Mydin in MJ? There is a Mydin at Plaza Rakyat too.

But the Mydin in MJ have some stalls along the river side there, but all sell nasi lemak and makanan cina tho.
