DC already have tons of show on CW. netfilx also already have rights to show dc tv on their service.

but having rights not same as owning the series. until now netflix still does not have Smallville on their service due to no rights. by making their own series they will own it forever even if CW decides to pull out their stuff later.

already predict this. jessica jones and punisher and defenders will be cancelled soon too. no point to help disney promote their intellectual properties since disney will pull out all marvel content from netflix.

maybe netflix will try to make dc superheroes original series instead.
