QUOTE(matrix88 @ Dec 1 2018, 10:45 PM) Cannot generalize like that. Each manufacturer produces all types of tires from low end econo & comfort types to high end performance types and even track tires. The high end Michelin Pilot Sport series also can rival or actually often even beat Pirelli P Zeros in the grip performance criteria so you cannot simply generalize that if want better grip Pirelli is better. |

Michelin doesnt produce pilot sports for this tyre size 225/70/17. |

cx5 225 65 17
ori - GY, lasted 18k, 30% remaining thread, i dump it 2nd - nexen nferra, gooding grip at straight lanes/very good on both dry & wet condition, cornering is bad (Esp dont do high speed corner very dangerous) comfort wise 7/10 and as u get closer to botak the more stiff on the road. 30k mileage current- michellin primacy SUV, so far so good, acceptable on dry condition, gooding on wet condition, comfort level - 7.5/10, tyre is softer compare to nexen nferra. hopefully can last 40k mileage. |
