Bro, any issues with condensation forming around the phone when mounted at air vent? My experience dated back to the day I had a toyota hilux, and at that time I was using I think it was a Nokia 6500. Anyway, hilux have those built in cup holders just in front of the ac vent. this was where I put my phone. Then one day I realised that it was fogging behind the lcd. Then I stopped doing that. Didn't know wheter that issue affected the phone or not as I sold it off after the incident. Those phones have removable batts, therefore there are air present. And I am sure the smartphones nowadays are not vacuum air tight.

I'm using this spider in my aircond vent for the past 4-5 years. No issue with condensation, it keeps my phone cool (but not cold), and it never freezes/condensation as I don't turn aircond below 20C. Normally 20-22C only. The spider allows as much air flow to the phone, as compared to other phone holders which completely blocks the phone and the aircond is only cooling the top part of the phone.
