For case. I prefer Nomad leather case, since XR dont have any official leather case. the horween leather feels real good. slim case too.

QUOTE(dino89 @ Apr 5 2019, 12:11 PM) Ya i agree the Nomad leather case is noce to use Am currently using the Mous bamboo case Full protection, slim, classy, nice grip and feel. Ticks all the criteria for me. Mous not yet try. Coz i just bought solidsuit and nomad. Around 400 d Solidsuit is so thick and wide. OMG. How is the Mous compared to nomad and solidsuit?

QUOTE(dino89 @ Apr 5 2019, 04:15 PM) Didnt use solidsuit, but my guess is it would almost be the same experience as their Mod NX with backplate. Rhinoshield cases are nice, but problem is the sides are slippery. Mous case dont have this issue Mous case is slightly heavier than the Nomad. I chose the bamboo, so cant do direct comparison with Nomad. Nomad case effortless to remove, Mous case need abit force to remove from phone Wanted to try Mous companion accessories like the magnet wallet, but see the price quite expensive so didnt buy how is the thicknness of mous compared to Mod nx? Wait till u try remove solidsuit, its like breaking the phone into two piece baru can come out the phone. lol.

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 8 2019, 02:57 PM) Public Service Announcement No matter how branded or expensive your clear cover is, it’ll still turn yellow after few months. Mine is yellow already, and just 4 months old Thats for clear case, i avoid buying branded ones. Coz no difference with the cheap ones also. If other types of case, is surely will go for branded case comapred to cheap china case.

Just purchase mcdodo power delivery adapter + mcdodo cable. RM59+rm30. A very good deal i would say. Aukey and tronsmart minimum need rm89 for adapter only.

QUOTE(vaio2770 @ Apr 9 2019, 12:34 PM) is this covered under warranty, or need to replace on our own? Any glass crack= automatically warranty voids. Apply to all smartphones as well.

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 9 2019, 07:58 PM) No, it’s not. But fix it at an authorised Apple service centre and your existing warranty won’t be void. If you’re planning to use it with an adapter there are plenty of choices. Not sure if using an adapter messes up the volume control and call functions though. I have a Beats one with lightning connector but it’s so so only, and slightly above 200. The McDodo is auto disconnect? yep. their newer gen cable eith led has auto dc. the pd adapter is real cheap tho. 3 slots for rm50+

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 10 2019, 09:15 AM) Hahaha, thanks bro. Actually I'm more keen on the cable coz I have the Apple 18W USB C adapter already (from my iPad Pro). That's sufficient for me ohhhh. How long it took for a full charge using that ipad pro charger? that charger same like the one bundled with macbook 12 right?

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 10 2019, 09:30 AM) I dunno which charger comes with the MacBook 12 bro, but the one that came with the iPad Pro is this one. With the original Apple USB C to lightning cable it takes about an hour or so to go from around 40-50% on my iPhone XR to 100%. oic. Diff liao. Macbook ones has power delivery enabled, so can charge faster.

QUOTE(marfccy @ Apr 17 2019, 12:05 AM) interesting, i use the 12W ipad charger and i find it pretty fast ofc its not as fast as true fast charging, but for its price, its as good as it gets True fast charging PD adapter+cable can get for around 80. Still much cheaper compared to 12w ipad charger

QUOTE(marfccy @ Apr 17 2019, 10:01 PM) indeed, but its ex to get proper apple cables :/ i dont really trust 3rd party cables yet, unless theyre MFI certified No issues. MFI just one tactic from Apple to suck from oem manufacturers. PD and normal charging like sky and earth difference
