How many users do you guys use/recommend on a 100mbps connection?

100

100Mbps is good enough for me. Other speeds like 300Mbps or 800Mbps feels like overkill for me.

A 100 Mbps connection can provide enough bandwidth for one family of 4 average users.

For 1 - 2 people it's overkill. Heck even 30 Mbps is enough for such a scenario unless you're a 24/7 Streamer/Torrenting freak/Steam games downloader.

not really required... if possible i want as cheap as possible. 10mbps more than enough for me

For smooth and simultaneous use
1 device 2k streaming
2 device fhd
4 device FB/insta without video

if all are heavy internet user maybe sufficient 4 ppl like that, depend of case scenario

Depends on your usage, if heavy video loader \ heavy download like P2P then maybe 3-4 users will utilize the bandwidth, but if only internet surfing, social media apps with light video loading, then it can go up to 6 to 8 users

my 1gbps line usually fully utilize unless I hit limits like Google API limit

i would say not over 5 to avoid bottleneck

100 is like minimun smooth online gaming, 300 is for download those huge 100GB data just for game

This enough that sufficient usually comes from ppl who have no access to higher speed. So what you’re telling us? That certain mbps is already threshold? Then why do we need to develop further for higher speed?

Now it’s not a question of speed anymore but coverage. I got 500Mbps but doesn’t mean I can get 500Mbps all over my apartment over WiFi

100mbps, torrent 1080p complete in few minutes. Can't get use to the speed. Plan to downgrade.

Overkill for me. I rather they reduce the monthly subscription fees by lowering the speed like my my home unifi.

My apartment got 10 devices connected to 100mbps not enough weh. Luckily didn't opt for 30mbps

64 gb of hitman in just 4 hours

100 here, enough for daily use and not so pain on wallet

Taiwan is still offering 100Mbps and below. They do offer 100M and above like 300 n 500M

It's barely enough for 1 person. You need 1Tbps.

Thats not quite right... 64 GB should take only ~1.5 hours on a 100 M connection if fully utilized.

Unless u want to constantly download multipls gigantic files (50GB and above) everyday in a short amount of time... 100Mbps package is more than enough for around 4 people (with 1 heavy-user).

Streaming 4K should be ok as well, mayb 2 users max?

Online gaming of course 100Mbps is more than sufficient (ping and packet loss is more important here) - Dota on 4Mbps was possible some years ago (although once in awhile connection would timeout huhu)

Anyways, it's human nature to always ask for more... last time when Time Fibre offer 100Mbps all of our jaws dropped lol

Ayam play MH:W, several gaming rigs at home (3 or more concurrent users playing same game), 100 is bare minimum. especially when 1 of the users decide multitasking and watch p0rn on steam overlay.

EDIT: Then again, MH:W netcode is bad, so scratch my opinion.

100mbps for a wifi is minimum speed. Unless you are using by one person

100 is a must!

Ayam using 1gbps feel slow when downloading from steam.

30mbps = 3mb download speed
100mbps = 10mb download speed

depends on you enough or not... some people said not enough some people said want more want faster (download torrent/ games etc)

me home 30mbps package, download speed around 3.4mb peak...guess tm give a little bit more push juice for me lol instead of 3mb top

500mbps here with 7 user and 6 of them are stream heavy user

last time 50mbps with 7 user oso okay but sometime got hiccup

100 upgraded to 500, only 2 ppl in the house... After 2 months, I feel 500 is kinda overkill but quite useful once in awhile, torrenting is so breeze 👍

i was once 30mbps initially thought this is enough for me and my family d, after free upgrade to 100, never look back to 30mbps.

because when i click a movie to download, 1-3 mins later can watch already.

off topic:
i thought now 100mbps is only for 129? why u still use 30mbps? how much it is now?

3 people all streaming 4k content

I dont use 30Mbps anymore.. I was just describing the experience when i had it. Now im on 100Mbps for 129, twiddling thumbs not knowing what else to download lol.

Using 1GBPS for 39SGD free Asus router. Stupid router only AC1200 can hardly support 433mbps.

I can stream 4k movie in netflix with 8mbps speed. but the contain streamed not really 4k. If I open youtube 4k video it's hardly play. What speed are you using?

10mbps also ok lo if u just normal usage like fb/utube/net
torrent also ok, just depend on how fast you want it...

now im using 300mbps
1 heavy user (me) & my parents (just 2 smartphone)
for me if daily usage my own 30mbps also ok ady
but occasionally i do torrent if 30mbps only is kinda slow but now 300mbps just nice for me

I'm using 4mbps, can't even stream 1080p if not pause it to load.

Impossible can stream real 4k with 8mbps.
