hi guys, its me again and yes, its that time of the year where the CELgames is back to put some life into your, err, gaming life. this time though its a bit earlier i know.

official games this year is almost same as last year except that we've added C&C 3 and replaced BF2 with BF2142.

all details will soon be up at www.celgames.com.my. please bear with us because i know the website is incomplete but i promised that we'll get it completed this week asap.

getting back to the games, C&C 3 should be cool. it's the CELgames' first competition RTS game and this should be fun. Since the WCG will also be featuring C&C 3 in its lineup, the CELgames is a great opportunity to put your leet strats and micro skills to the test before the big one in Sept.

next up we have BF2142. I said last year that the CELgames will support the local BF community and this year we've decided to opt for BF2142 instead.

for all interested BF 2142 teams, please be reminded that tentatively, all BF2142 matches (including semis and finals) will take place at Blaze City, Uptown Damansara.

Another important announcement is after various feedback, we decided that this time around, the BF2142 will be for Malaysians only.

The same goes for the other games as well. Malaysians only!

hi guys

First of all i would like to apologize over the confusion, timing and lack of updates about the celgames this year. A lot of things did not fall into place for us this year but i dont really want to bore you with the details. I promise that we'll try to put on a good show for everyone.

just to address a few issues, the bf 2142 tourney as of now is still pending the final date. I've spoke to crestfallen about this and i believe that he'll speak to other team leaders on a suitable date for it to happen.

I suggest the 15th July at Blaze City and hopefully, that date is ok for everyone. the R&R of the BF 2142 tourney should be up on the website now. and so will the prizes for the prelims. so go check it out now.

As for the other games, everything is still unchanged. all venues and their respective games (FIFA, C&C3 & Carbon) are confirmed with the respective rules.

As for the qualifying process, note that each prelim will offer TWO spots. The winner and runner up of each cybercafe prelims for FIFA, C&C3 and Carbon) will qualify for the Grand Final in Low Yat.

Note that if there are less than 4 players for any game in any cybercafe prelim, the game will not run at the cybercafe. The two spots will be carry forward to the Low Yat prelim instead.

i hope u guys can bear with us. although its the 3rd year for the celgames, its still a learning process for us.

I hope to see the old faces and a lot of new faces come this sat at Ipoh.

lowyat prelims is 21st July, saturday.

yes, u can register for more than 1 prelims but u cannot win more than 1 prelims.

21st and 22nd july are the tournament days for the Grand Finals. You can come from the 16th onwards to Low Yat to test the machines or just to check the exhibition area out.

As it is, 21st will be day for the last prelims. 22nd will be the day for the last-16 for all the single player games.

ipoh leg is getting hot. about 30 for fifa, 10 for C&C3 and 8 for carbon.

it's still not too late to register. Come on now, C&C 3 and carbon looks wide open.

PS: the first prizes for ipoh leg is gonna be altec lansing speakers worth almost RM200. 2nd place is altec headsets worth about RM80.

don't worry. as of now, all of the top floor of blaze city is allocated for us. that prolly means, two matches can be run at a time.

i would like to apologize for all the delays and boo boos throughout the competition. we don't have a dedicated team running the celgames as most of you all know, so i hope you guys understand. we're trying our best so that you guys have a good time.

congrats to all the winners and GG to those that didn't make it to the end. There's always next year and hopefully, we can make it even better celgames.

PS: Maybe we'll have another xbox 360 to give away next year as well! Or should we throw in a ps3 or wii?
