Hi,

Today I was trying to uninstall the HP Image Zone Express but the uninstallation button gone. When I reinstall the HP Image Zone Express or update it to become HP Image Essential, it still can't solve this problem.



Any idea to remove it?

change the entries for NoRemove and NoModify to 0 if its set to 1

I think you have misunderstand me, uninstall button missing mean that file registry also goes missing. You can't expect a computer noob like me to understand what you trying said.

install the program back then uninstall it again...

Is the item listed in the uninstall list of CCleaner? If it is, try it from there.

Is it listed in the extra.txt of a DSS log?

This thing happens to me half and hour ago.

I just run CCleaner > Tools > Run Uninstaller, the job is done.

I don't see any uninstaller for the HP product. Actually, I don't see any uninstaller for any HP product.

Search the HP site for an uninstaller, or call them Monday morning. You will be transferred to somebody in India. They are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to HP problems.

Usually, if you get an updated software, it will work. That's what happened to one of my HP all-in-one printers. I just upgraded the software, and everything turned out OK again.

Thanks for reply, I just found out I update to wrong version of HP Image Essential.
At the HP forum they said only v1.9 can cover the problem but I download v2.1.
I guess the problem solve...
