Background story: I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. Basically, i got my PS4 and all the games (digital and physical) in the UK whilst i was still studying. Now that i am back to Malaysia for good, i haven't really had time to play on my PS4 until recently. My first issue came about when i tried to renew my subscription for PS+ with a physical game card bought from the store which resulted in an error (expected as much). To my horror, the price for the subscription is 50GBP and way more expensive than getting it in Malaysia. Problem is my account is currently linked to PSN UK alongside with the many games i bought digitally.

Dilemma: Should i make a new account to my current region so that i can purchase digital games + PS plus? or should i just pay the UK price + exchange rates? Please do note that i generally only play a few games online (mainly GT sport, GTA etc).

Extra: i know that different regions of games have similar content, however, i read that it may cause you to connect to different servers as well. Could someone clarify if this posses a big issue knowing that our internet speed is close to naught.

you can have multiple accounts in one PS4, just set them as home console for both account and you can use one account to play another account's game, same with PS+, only 1 PS+ needed for all the account in the same console to play online.

If you current account is UK with already a lot of digital games, you can make a Malaysia account and buy PS+ there. On the same console your UK account also can play online. As for connecting to different servers. I don't know.
