Hi there, noob here. i hv a question on the security side on the win98. Recently when i login in my pc which is share withe others in my work place, i found that there is some1 using my IE to online searching through the web without my permission whenever i forgot to logout. However i fail to find out who is the culprit behind this. I hv been worry that 1 day i might be questioned by the IT guys from my company. So i was thinking tat is there possible tat i can change the registry which disable the desktop icon and the start menu? Only for my login so tat it will not affected the other of my team who oso sharing wif my pc. Please help....

your main problem is u forget to logout, changing registry wont help anything. For secure use, put a screen saver with password, then u r secure.
