Yeah I just pumped for my old wira

Much easier cruising, like less resistance, the friction modifiers must be good.

Is old car so difference is noticeable. Mileage don't know this car seldom drive so never keep track

I've posted about this many years ago.

Their fuel is definitely better.

My mom was using the then known as ESSO on her Nissan X-trail. On a tap the car gives no response, only after 1-2 seconds usually.

But there was this once I had fuel emergency, I was only 19 or so, and wasn't too familiar with SS15 area. But there was only BHP along the highway towards Sunway from INTI. Pump je la. On that very moment, every single step on the accelerator I get an instant response from the engine compared to when I used ESSO.

I thought it was weird and my mum said it is definitely better response with BHP. ever since then my mum use BHP until now.

I still remember posting that review here got me an invitation to BHP's customer appreciation dinner but I had to decline due to some matters. Though I wouldn't mind if they invite me again, still using their fuel in my mum's car to date.

I'm personally using other brand as there's not much BHP near where I live now. Except if it's an emergency then nearest would still be that one BHP station that I use from time to time.

this too, BHP for me is very good (myvi)

but in terms of mileage it doesnt seem to last as much as Petronas somehow

Petron is abit in middle of both

I just tried last weekend. Used for a week. Saw their advertisement on new formula and just want to try out.

Was using shell then caltex (which IMO is better than shell), switched to petronas because of the lazada petrol card and used for a year.

That day go Penang repump shell. Feel much better than petronas. Then try bhp. Better feel than shell. No idea yet if against caltex.

But I'll probably switch to bhp after I use up all my petrol card

i also received invitation because that time only BHP was already euro 3 for petrols and i said low sulphur is much better for engine longevity

95 for my mum. Her car feasts on fuel, 97 is not optimal for her use. laugh.gif

Mileage for me all same. I use my personal methods to drive (Myvi as well) so the F.C. results are very close.

My method of driving is no air conditioning (previously when I still drive to work), engine braking (hardly step on brake, to date still same), neutral when at traffic light, windows are only 1-2" opened to allow some fresh air and that gap is more than enough.

Is BHP still confirmed import petrol from SG? I can't find any recent links to confirm it. But the new formula is awesome. My engine feels smoother and better pickup. Hopefully the petrol is still being imported from SG. At least Caltex does mention it on their website that their petrol is from SG and Thailand. Hope someone can share a recent link for BHP's petrol source smile.gif

Lol....just checked the website. They mention /advertised that ron97 is fully imported but are silent on ron95. I am not too bothered if ron97 is fully imported as all ron97 are already required to be Euro 4m standards. Only interested if ron 95 is fully imported because of the previously advertised Euro 3 standards. Hopefully BHP ron 95 is still imported from SG. But of course, BHP can always have disclaimer later saying "We didn't say our ron 95 is still fully imported......." hmm.gif

Caltex techron also really gooding in power pickup. Mileage still testing and recording.

Shell only v power is worth.
Other countries using shell v power nitro + already 3 years plus. And euro 6. We always use inferior petrol. Ccb
