Based on my personal information above, I would like to bring to your attention of the breach of integrity/fraud by financial service e-wallet - Boost (AXIATA DIGITAL ECODE SDN BHD).

It has come to my attention that Boost has launched many campaigns aggressively for the past few months promising customer that they will get a "cash rebate" if customer spend a certain amount of money using boost e-wallet application.

Based on the terms and conditions stated on the website, and also the terms and conditions on the promotion email that I received, boost has clearly stated that such cash rebate will be credited to customer's e-wallet in 1 working day. However, I would like to stress that boost has FAILED to honour such cash rebate and some of the cash rebate has been pending for more than 1 to 2 months if not longer.

I have raised my concern to the customer service department of boost but everytime they have provided me a generic reply promising that such cash rebate will be credited "soon". I would like to confirm that is not the case as I have mentioned some of my cash rebate has been pending for more than 1 to 2 months or so. Also I have raised multiple times on this issue to the customer service, but each time they have closed my dispute ticket as "solved" and never get back to me after, avoiding to honor such cash rebate promised by their campaign. One example is that I have raised 5 tickets within 2 months and yet they did not honour the cashback and everytime they said it will be credited into my e-wallet soon. While the cashback might be a few Ringgit or so, but if boost failed to honour such cash back according to their terms and conditions of the campaign, I would consider this as a fraud and scam to deceive customers to spend more on Boost e-wallet. I hope you can take this case seriously.

I would like to seek for Bank Negara Malaysia's help as I believe BNM holds a high standard towards financial services in Malaysia. I strongly believe that such bad customer service attitude by a financial service provider and misleading campaign of boost has no place in Malaysia under the integrity and high standard set out by Bank Negara Malaysia.

I hereby kindly request Bank Negara Malaysia to investigate this issue thoroughly before more Malaysians become victim of such cases.
