QUOTE(car_computer @ Jun 8 2019, 05:01 PM) ya.. i skip this round. got nothing to buy from the 10 online merchants One roast kitchen voucher at Paradigm Mall not bad. Rm70 for RM100mil worth of food, after boost day cashback you pay only Rm50, not to mention the food is pretty decent too. Those who stay nearby can try it out.many fave deals are not really good deals. those merchants want you to add on this and that, ending up paying more than normal price. some f&b deals are genuine, but some merchants purposely make the food portion smaller This post has been edited by coolguy99: Jun 8 2019, 05:05 PM |

QUOTE(car_computer @ Jun 8 2019, 05:13 PM) only for 8x tokens but not entitled to 30% cb Yes I normally go for cash vouchers only because those deals are usually best.ya.. discounted voucher type is much better because we can use that to order normal dishes. i dont really like some preset meals purposely sold as a fave deal, as the portion could be very small as compared to normal price and sometimes merchants keep pushing for extra |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jun 9 2019, 12:22 AM) Forgot to look at the clock and miss the 8x tokens offer despite still going to purchase some swimming stuffs and cases from Taobao. GG 27 x 7. That’s the entire point of using e wallet. It is supposed to be more convenient to encourage people to use it.Still, Im surprised at how much easier it was to pay through Boost than going through online banking. |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jun 9 2019, 12:32 AM) But then there's time where it is absolutely hopeless and you are left without ways to use it at all. They have to make the app more reliable as it is the only way to use it. Increase the server capacity, minimise unnecessary downtime.I wonder if there's a way for them to use it OFFLINE at the very least when it is down or inaccessible. |

If you use favepay, Boost is one of the payment methods isn't it?

QUOTE(terradrgn @ Jun 11 2019, 06:19 PM) speaking of wallets collaborating with malls. I was happy to see Boost doing it with The Starling. But the amount of merchants accepting Boost didn't really change also, disappointed. Yeah same goes with Paradigm Mall. Despite collaborating with the mall, the number of merchants using Boost remains the same. |

Did scan and pay just now. However shake reward didn’t appear right after the payment. Instead you have to manually go to rewards tab to redeem your shake reward

This week X70 has 50k entries, seems like very slim chance to get.
Any idea when the X70 draw will end? |

QUOTE(rojakwhacker @ Jun 16 2019, 04:48 PM) Thank you!QUOTE(akafoz @ Jun 16 2019, 04:58 PM) I think it is best to pair it with FavePay as you will get FavePay cashback in addition to the CC cash back and Boost cash back! Triple layer of cash backs! |

If they don't allow cc top up and user still uses e wallet, then it is cashless society.
Banks will have lower income due to this, as most people reload directly from their bank accounts, cc usage decrease. If the wallet size increases, assuming the security in the app is improved greatly, people will start storing money in e wallets instead. I think e wallet is bad news for banks unless they start to venture into this industry and try to compete with other major players. This post has been edited by coolguy99: Jun 18 2019, 09:02 AM |

QUOTE(avinlim @ Jun 18 2019, 09:12 AM) Cash has been there for decade. People wont just switch to e-wallet without any benefits. "People wont just switch to e-wallet without any benefits" - to me this is just the first step in the early adoption phase, which is to introduce e-wallet to the society and boost up the adoption rate.Just take the touch n go for example. Few yrs back People rather queue up pay cash rather than using tngo card which will cost RM10 for the card. Because pay cash n card is the same price. if pay by card can get 5% discount. the cash lane should be long gone. I think Bank Negara plays an important role in this as well, they really need to start regulating the e-wallet industry in Malaysia. Currently there are too many e-wallets in our market, easily in one merchant you can find some with several e-wallet QR codes. I think they can introduced a standardized QR code (one QR code for all e-wallets). This post has been edited by coolguy99: Jun 18 2019, 09:21 AM |
