For those who have applied or and activated Alliance Bank VCC, check if you've received 40k Boost stars. I applied without going through Boost or being aware of such a campaign, suddenly see 40k Boost stars being credited to my account. But I did activate the Alliance Bank VCC recently.

I just topup boost wallet using CC(RM1k) then when i want to transfer using DuitNow it shows Online Banking Balance: RM20 only..

why it like that??

Me also no. i tried to make online payment using beyond card on 2nd Sep. did not get OTP till today (just tried still nothing). emailed to their support on 3rd Sep, till today no reply.

i got digital only for online payment. physical i think should be ok since no need OTP

yes still unable. i just tried around 2.37pm. still same. have to wait for Boost to fix it. It stuck at the Boost Purchase Authentication asking for OTP code. But no OTP sms received.

My guess is the content inside the SMS. As i know starting 1st September, all telco starting to ban any SMS containing URL. This happened in 1st of June as well, Then MCMC decided to delay for 3 months until 31st August 2024. Boost still did no action at all.

it's a widespread prob of not getting SMS TAC for Beyond card online trx.
a few of my family and friends same prob.

Boost shud acknowledge the prob and fix it ASAP.
not to ignore the problem.

except they acknowledge the prob immediately and let us know they will try to fix it asap

So, their solution to us -> try to use another payment method.

I complaint to the FB and say will call me back since 3 days ago
Not a single ringtone appear.

to my surprise,
following the fb message tell you use another payment option,
i reply asking them when this prob will be resolved.

another cs reply,

"Hi there, thanks for reaching out to us. Regarding your issue, kindly clarify if you have checked your Spam/Blocked contact list? Kindly ensure you did not block the shortcode SMS (Eg: 66688) ^Faz"


Seem some cs still think the prob originated from cust part blocking their sms tac.

try to contact your telco and ask them whether SMS content with email address only will be blocked by them/telco in adherence to MCMC directive?

mcmc only stated URL, but definition may be interpreted differently by each telco

technically, it's not an URL and not clickable/hyperlink in nature

it's your phone itself that identify and convert url into clickable link, email as clickable link, mobile number as clickable link, and so on
my phone also detected 6-digit OTP number as clickable too. Wouldn't it be dangerous too?
