in my opinion, BNM is open to have spending limit more than that, but just that Boost has to have a more strict internal control.

for example, in order to have 'Big Wallet Size', the Company managing the EWallet would need to have a dedicated trust account where all the users money will be parked. BNM will ask the Company to appoint an external auditor to give them assurance on this compliance.

the ending balance of the trust account on any day must be at least 2% higher than the ewallet liability (users) money - if the company involve in other business other than ewallet or equal to the ewallet liability.

failure to comply with this will result in the e-wallet would have to become a small size wallet - which is only RM200 (just like non-premium boost user).

and there's many other requirements given by BNM - so actually boost is the one that need to commit to requirements set by BNM in order to have a bigger limit (current RM4,500).

I don't study what the requirement is, but for example, in order to have RM10,000 spending limit, Boost would need to ensure than a report is sent to BNM on spending behaviour of those who spent more than RM7,500 in a month - which again more work for Boost - need to hire more people as analyst - etc etc. - since Boost is not ready for this, then they just stick with RM4,500.

U can only transfer 1.5k per day. The next day u can transfer another 1.5k but must be diff bank account. If u only have one bank acc, then u need to wait 2-3days before can perform another transfer.

I would love to know what’s the surprise. Please share fellow people of your surprise gift from Boost. I can only watch as I’ve utilised my limit.

Since the account i try to level up is actually my brother’s, and he is using android so should be no problem.

My elder siblings wanted to put sspn for their kids to get tax relief for 2019, then when i said use boost can get rm100++ cashback suddenly everyone sign up for boost. Lol

I remember someone reported they can’t add any credit cards to their Boost account.

I was helping my sister just now to deposit SSPN-i using her own Boost account to her son’s SSPN-i.

But I can’t add any credit card to her account (the card was under her own name). And the account was verified.

There’s only 1 transaction in the account, back in March 2019. After that, the account was dormant. I’ve tried topping up via online banking (saving account), and it was successful.

I’ve tried all her cards, and all failed. Card was not added bla bla bla. I purposely try to link one of her card to my own boost acc, and it went to the OTP page, but i did not continue and i just wanted to test water. Clearly the account has been ‘suspended’ by boost to top up using CC.

But my sister account has nothing fishy going on, there only one payment to Jakel back in March 2019, and after that, nothing.

I might have found a temporary solution. Ive logged out from my sister phone (iPhone 6S) and logged in to her husband phone (Android) - her husband is not using boost either.

Can topped up using credit like normal. Once done with sspn, i logged in using her phone again, (CC saved card missing) but i try to add card again, failed again. So I guess the problem lies with the phone? Maybe some apps were installed or maybe it is refurbished phone? Or maybe not Malaysia set? I dont know. (Her phone could be refurbished as she got it during company’s annual dinner 3 years back)

Sounds like we have different problems, as my issue is temporary CC loading bans every 1-2 months (probably due to my usage pattern triggering some red flags or whatever)....

I don't dare try logging into my account using any of my family members phones in case they also get banned lol.

No. The account was created and last transaction was on the iPhone 6s. Her husband just bought the phone this month. It’s a new phone hence thats why I logged in her account to her husband’s phone.

Ya i suggest do not log in to any other device that has been logged in using boost, who knows later they do something like TnG eWallet, ur reward become RM0.10.

U only do SSPN right, no other transaction.

Got a few boost account linked to the same CC?

Or, logged out from ur phone, and logged in to another phone that never been used for boost. My sister phone has problem topping up/adding CC but when try with other phone, no problem?

Ehhhhhhhhhh, PEV is back, i remember on 1/1/2020 i check midnight, no more PEV, then no longer interested with boost 28%.

Damn fcfs 20k users only, should finish by now eh?

Receive cashback for boost online day - january 8/1/2020.

Spend on HG. I only get 2 out of 3 phones initially on Monday. Today get for the other phone at 12.20pm
