My 12.12 shopee transaction also no cashback
I checked back my old statement there are cashback for Shopee with the same description.
Gonna report to CS.

And i notice the Shopee transaction date in statement is on 11 Dec, while Big Pay transaction time is in 12 Dec, both transaction were just differ by few minutes.

I am asking CS what type of transaction did Shopee indicated other than online and e-commerce that caused no cash back. Let's see what CS answer in next email, can it be grocery or departmental?

I think we need to rise the attention to Shopee too if they are able to do something on this.

I already had the reply from CS as below:

Thank you for your email.

Referring to the below, please be informed that the Bank is only acting in the capacity of a Billing Agent for Biller (Merchant). The billing is done by Merchant and all data pertaining to the transactions made on your Credit Card are from the Merchant not the Card Issuing Bank.

As long as the Merchant had indicated to us that the said transaction is an Online Transaction or E- Commerce Transaction, Cardmember will enjoy 5% Cash Back when using their Quantum MasterCard to make the purchases (capped at RM 30.00 Per Month Per Principal Cardmember).

Regret to inform that Merchant - Shopee had not indicated that this transaction is an Online Transaction or E- Commerce Transaction, as such, you have earned VIP Points instead of 5% Cash Back.
