QUOTE(talexeh @ Dec 5 2018, 05:21 PM) PBB Quantum Visa - the cashback is only for entertainment and departmental store shopping, isn't it? I understand for PBB Quantum Mastercard we can use BigPay as it's considered online spending... but Quantum Visa also can meh?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 17 2018, 01:10 PM) Includes. 12 transactions, not only limited to physical swipes. QUOTE(beLIEve @ Dec 17 2018, 01:11 PM) I think should include online. If we follow the swipe term strictly, according to Google dictionary : 3. pass (a swipe card) through an electronic device designed to read and process the information encoded on it. Nowadays, most terminals are reading the chip or contactless, so there is no passing through. You'll have to insist the merchants to use the swipe method. So I guess you'll have to call public bank up to confirm. Noted, thanks guys!

Applied for Quantum Master and got both Master and Visa. I checked online and it seems that I've been charged SST for both (RM25 x 2). I thought they only charge at the anniversary of the card? Has anyone cancelled their Quantum Visa and got their SST refunded to them?

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 20 2018, 10:19 AM) New registration will be charged upon approval. Only existing cards will be charged during the anniversary of the card. I see... in that case I'll just continue using the Visa then... Thanks!

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 20 2018, 04:59 PM) I was also a new cardholder, I didn't activate Visa Quantum and straight called to cancel it. Nothing was charged to me. QUOTE(ckweng @ Dec 20 2018, 05:31 PM) Called to cancel my Visa Quantum and CS told me it would be cancelled with immediate effect. After a few mins, I logged into my e-banking and saw that it's indeed marked as "Cancelled" under the status. Fast and efficient! I should'nt have activated the Quantum Visa card... oh well. Since I've been charged SST, there's nothing I can do now... Thanks though!

QUOTE(peri peri @ Dec 20 2018, 10:53 PM) Quantum visa not a bad card, it come in handy when you are doing shopping spree at departmental store like parkson, metro or jusco. Thats true... but do you know if AEON/JUSCO voucher counts towards the cashback? Cos the voucher can also be used for grocery shopping...

Yeah I checked everything online I'm referring to the SN4M (Spend now 4 more) cashback ... i can see my regular monthly cashback but not the promo cashback

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 24 2018, 11:02 AM) 16-digit card number is correct? every single digit is correct, right? double-check your sms history. try do a search for keyword "pbcb", see what was sent out. // 7. A principal credit cardmember who successfully registers for the Promotion will receive a SMS confirmation from the Bank (“the Participant”). The standard normal telco operator charges apply for each SMS registration and shall be fully borne by the Participant.
8. In the event the SMS is incomplete/ invalid, an outgoing SMS will be sent to the principal credit cardmember, at no cost, to inform him to re-register via SMS.
9. The Bank will not be held responsible and reserves the absolute discretion to disqualify any registration from a supplementary cardmember, any duplicate entries, incomplete/ inaccurate SMS, late entries, error messages, unsuccessful registration due to network failure and/ or interruption experienced by a telco operator or for any reason whatsoever as the Bank may in its absolute discretion deem fit. //Yeah all correct..checked many times already. I traced back the sms i sent out (still in my archive). I think the bank can just use point 9 and say its my network problem for that unsuccessful registration. Gah... how would i know it's unsuccessful. I didnt get any error message from my network either (usually I will get when my sms didnt get through).

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 24 2018, 11:09 AM) try contact PBB to help investigate the root cause of the issue. they can tell you whether you've registered or not, etc. Yup, will do later after work. What's the best way to contact PBB? EMail/ Phone? Hate being put on hold for ages in queue by phone... if PBB is good with email replies, probably I will try that instead.
